What counts as a screening call?
One call to POST /api/v1/screen counts as one screening call, regardless of the number of lists checked. Bulk screens count one call per beneficiary screened.
What happens if I exceed my monthly call limit?
Overage calls are billed at $0.002–$0.005 per call depending on your tier. You will never be blocked — screening continues uninterrupted.
Does the Growth tier include the NFIU Nigeria list?
Yes. The NFIU Nigeria Sanctions List (via NIGSAC) is included from the Growth tier upwards. It is updated whenever the Nigeria Sanctions Committee publishes new designations.
What is goAML STR/CTR filing and do I need it?
goAML is the NFIU's electronic reporting platform. All CBN-licensed financial institutions must file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) on it. ScreenShield generates the required goAML 5.0.1 XML file in one click — your compliance officer downloads it and uploads it directly to goaml.nfiu.gov.ng. No manual form-filling. This is included free on Growth and above, or available as a $99/month add-on on Starter.
Is PEP screening included or a separate add-on?
PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) screening is included in all plans — Free, Starter, and above. ScreenShield screens against 844,710 PEP entries covering heads of state, ministers, legislators, judges, diplomats, and senior officials from every country worldwide — not just Africa. This global coverage is sourced from OpenSanctions and Wikidata, updated daily. There is no separate charge for PEP screening.
Can I cancel anytime?
Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days notice. Annual plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled at renewal. No lock-in beyond your billing period.
Where is my data stored?
Data is stored on cloud infrastructure in the EU (default) or West Africa (optional). Enterprise customers can request dedicated data residency in specific jurisdictions.
Is ScreenShield CBN and BoG compliant?
ScreenShield is operated by Mulanji Technologies Solution Limited (RC: 1909785, Nigeria) and is proven in production at a BCC-licensed remittance operator. CBN PSSP licence application is in progress.
